For over 2.5 years, this oral cancer survivor continued to suffer from severe ne

For over 2.5 years, this oral cancer survivor continued to suffer from severe neck and facial pain despite completing cancer treatment. A detailed evaluation revealed that the pain was not only arising from cervical spondylosis but was also being transmitted through specific sensory nerves supplying the affected region. Using advanced image-guided targeted nerve blocks, we addressed both the cervicogenic component and the nerve pathways responsible for perpetuating the pain. Cancer treatment may end, but pain should not become a life sentence. At Purple Heron Hospitals, our focus is not just treating pain-but identifying its source and restoring function, comfort, and quality of life.
